DEFLEXION™ brand from Dow Corning, a global leader in silicones will be present at ISPO Munich, January 29 to February 1, 2012 at New Munich Trade Fair Centre in Germany.

The conference provides a comprehensive overview of the entire range of sporting goods, athletic footwear and fashions, as well as the latest trends from these segments. DEFLEXION™ brand will be launching DEFLEXION™ footwear technology and its Ambassador prototyping activities for snowboarding and wakeboarding at the event, as well as showing designers the many ways DEFLEXION™ impact protection technology can be utilized to create customized impact protection solutions.

DEFLEXION™ insole technology for footwear offers the user enhanced comfort and cushioning in a thin and lightweight form by effectively spreading and reducing plantar pressures. Leading podiatrist, Andrew James from ACE Feet in Motion will be providing a foot scanning service and the opportunity to experience DEFLEXION™ technology in your shoes all day Sunday and Monday of the show. Andrew and DEFLEXION™ technical experts will be presenting at the stand on Sunday, January 29 at 2p.m. and Monday, January 30 at 2 p.m.

DEFLEXION™ brand ambassador Matt Crowhurst will be present to talk on how he has been involved in designing a bespoke wakeboarding impact vest with DEFLEXION™ materials for his personal use. Crowhurst is a professional wakeboarder and has been competing and coaching at the sport’s highest level for 15 years. Matt will be available to talk Sunday, January 29 at 11 a.m., Monday, January 30 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Tuesday, January 31 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
